girls supper club
When I first started business school, I was eating out 5-6x a week. Some friends and I wanted to start cooking more and missed having girl time — so the cookbook supper club was born.
- Every month, we pick a vegetarian-friendly cookbook
- Everyone brings a dish, we eat, chat, and have a good time
- I noticed existing invite platforms don't let you upload a cookbook, parse dietary info, or select dish types
- Being diet-friendly was really important (especially because I'm vegetarian!)

I've been really loving the luxe feeling that comes with a lot of RSVPs for weddings, so I wanted to mimic something similar. The animation does an opening of the envelope with the RSVP with all the details coming out of it.

After you've RSVP'd and created an account, you'll be directed to fill out your profile. If you notice, my name tag has a broccoli emoji, which indicates that I'm vegetarian! Everyone's profile has their relevant ones attached too.

When you login, this is the main landing page where you're able to see what other people have chosen to make and you're also able to see who has RSVP'd. You can also access the cookbook in PDF form directly on here.

I don't want people guessing about dietary restrictions, so I had AI parse all the information and tag any relevant dietary restrictions. AI can obviously also make mistakes, so I added a confirmation box so that people just double check. They can also add partners and tag their food "type," which is main/side/appetizer/dessert. From our first cookbook club, we realized that there were way too many mains, so we wanted to add this restriction for following ones.

And of course we didn't want to lose track of old cookbooks that we've completed, so we also have an archive section.

Let me know what you think. I'd love to keep growing this + adding new features!
